COMTO HISTORY

About COMTO CT

The COMTO Connecticut Chapter was established in 2015 by Anna Barry, former Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) Deputy Commissioner,  and Carl Jackson former CTDOT Rail Administrator.  As a local chapter, we are engaged in initiatives that advance the organization’s mission. These include a range of business and professional programs that build individuals, groups, transportation agencies, private sector corporations, non-profit organizations, and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs).

Mission

Our mission is to ensure opportunities and maximum participation in the transportation industry for collective identity individuals, veterans, people with disabilities and certified MWDBE businesses through leadership training, professional development, scholarship and internship funding, political advocacy, partnership building and networking opportunities.
